Meet the Founder
Hello, my name is Ebony Njrie Sampson, and I’m a proud native of the beautiful,
sunny city of Miami, Florida. I am the Founder of the Njrie Self Love Journey
Foundation Incorporated, an organization rooted in healing, self-worth, and personal
empowerment.
The foundation was born during one of the most transformative and difficult seasons of
my life — after the passing of my father, the Late Apostle Sylvester Sampson Jr. His
death was a moment that forever changed me. It forced me to pause, reflect, and truly
consider what matters most. In that time of grief, I came to understand just how short
and unpredictable life can be — and how essential it is to love and honor yourself every
step of the way.
Out of that painful season came a deep passion: to help others navigate their own
journey of self-love and healing. Through this foundation, I strive to create safe,
supportive spaces where people — especially youth — can discover their inner
strength, build confidence, and grow through love.
My Story
My story is like no other — not because it’s perfect, but because it’s real.
I’m the author of Njrie Courage: The Courage to Take a Stand Against Bullying, a
powerful children’s book born from my own painful experiences with bullying during
elementary school. What once silenced me now fuels my voice — and that voice is now
helping children everywhere find the courage to speak up.
This book isn't just a story — it’s a movement. It teaches kids the value of standing up
for themselves and for others. It empowers them to use their voices, build confidence,
and recognize that they are never alone. The message is simple but life-changing:
“Bullying stops when you have the courage to speak out.”
But my mission didn’t stop with the book. I created the Njrie Self Love Journey
Foundation to extend this message beyond the pages — into schools, homes, and
communities. Through both my writing and my foundation, I am committed to being a
voice for change. I’m helping shape a world where self-love isn’t just encouraged —
it’s lived.
Whether you’re healing from the pain of bullying, navigating grief, or simply trying to
rediscover your voice, know this: you don’t have to walk this journey alone. The Njrie
Self Love Journey Foundation is here to walk beside you — one step, one story, one act
of courage at a time.
This journey is deeply personal for me — but I believe it’s one we’re all meant to walk
together.
